We are looking for a strategic thinker to support impactful projects within our Chief Investment Office during the Summer of 2018.  Beyond typical professional responsibilities, the internship program sponsors a variety of activities to build your network, provide volunteer opportunities and create connections that can jump-start a rewarding career.

What Will My Role at Prudential Look like?
 
The Chief Investment Office (CIO) is a major strategic partner to many other departments across the enterprise and relies upon a collaborative culture to effectively create both micro and macro solutions to the most interesting challenges at Prudential.  The CIO Organization controls the management of the investment portfolios of Prudential’s General Accounts through its Global Portfolio Management Group, Alternative Assets Group, and Modeling & Analytics units. With over $400 billion in assets under management the CIO Organization is responsible for asset/liability management, interest rate risk management, oversight and reporting on product investment margin performance and related hedge management activities. 
 
Our Investment Analyst Internship program provides exposure to multiple pockets of a dynamic organization while creating the opportunity for success and recognition through substantial and long-term business impact.  As an intern, you may find yourself working on US or International portfolio management, evaluation & execution of alternative asset investments, portfolio strategy & development, or hedge management - just to name a few.

About You
 
You have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and you are able to communicate across a wide variety of audiences.   You have high performance standards which you look to uphold along with a genuine interest problem solving.  You’re looking to expand your skills, work with diverse teams on challenging projects, and build relationships with experts and leaders in your field.
 
Requirements & Qualifications
  •   Major in (or demonstrated aptitude) a highly quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, economics, computer science, finance, actuarial sciences or a similarly quantitative subject area.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

  • Anticipated graduation in Dec 2018, May 2019, Dec 2019 or May 2020
