Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; develops and sustains productive customer relationships.  Actively seeks information to understand customer circumstances, problems, expectations and needs.  Responds quickly to meet customer's needs and resolves problems. Maintains and supports a culture of compliance, ethics and integrity.  Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures and performs in accordance with the Principles of Responsibilities and applicable regulatory requirements, external laws and accreditation standards.  Appropriately reports observed fraud or abuse.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • In collaboration with supervisor, participates in the development and design of projects, developing procedures, ensuring ease of implementation, designing and developing project work plan, project start up, and setting and meeting project timelines.

  • Assists in identifying resource requirements and in preparing project budgets.

  • Assists supervisor in identifying project personnel requirements.

  • Assists in recruiting/assigning staff to projects.

  • Ensures project materials and documents are approved in a timely manner.

  • Creates information materials for projects.

  • Assure timely and accurate data handling, including project file management.

  • Coordinates regular project meetings with the project team to discuss project status, problems, teamwork, etc., and to alert investigators to problems that jeopardize project success.

  • Develops or provides project status reports as required or requested.

  • Maintains and monitor project quality monitoring/improvement process.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

  • Executes assigned project actions in coordination with the client and project team.

  • Current enrollment in an accredited program as a regular degree student or have graduated within the last 24 months from a Graduate program.

  • Must have a strong interest in prepaid group practice health plans.

  • Knowledge of health care business practices.

  • Basic computer skills in Windows, Word and Excel.

  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
