Cadets assist Agents in performing delivery and basic installation of home theater/satellite/multi-room audio, computer, and major appliance products, providing technical advice and assistance to clients. Installation ranges from basic audio/video connectivity to assisting other agents in fishing wires through walls for advanced home theater installations. Cadets typically begin their day by meeting an Agent at one of our store locations and accompanying them to each scheduled service for the day; All installation and computer repair service must meet the highest standards set forth by our team while assuring a professional and safe working environment. Cadets must have strong customer service skills to act as a company representative in the client’s home and to act as a consultant in the store.
• Report to an assigned store location and travel with Agents to clients’ locations.
• Assist in unloading and unboxing products
• Assist in installing and troubleshooting/set up consumer electronics
• Cleaning work area of all debris
• Communicate with customer in professional manner
This position is subject to a criminal history records check as a condition of hire as well as ongoing annual review of National Sex Offender Registry records throughout the course of employment while remaining in the position. What are the Professional Requirements of a Cadet?
Shift - Tues-Sat 8am-4pm
Pay - $14.00/hr
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 months job related experience with in-home customer contact
• 18 years of age or more
• Reliable transportation to the assigned to store location
• Lift or maneuver 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation and team lift
