Operations is one of the largest divisions in the firm and has diverse responsibilities, in particular a continuous focus on seeking ways to improve existing operations while actively supporting the development of new businesses, structures and markets.

Global Wealth Management provides services that are tailored to each client's investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs. Products include mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and alternative investments where appropriate, as well as banking, mortgages, insurance and annuities. We apply our expertise in serving institutional clients to create new opportunities for people to achieve their personal financial goals.
The Wealth Management Tax and Client Reporting Operations (TCRO) team is seeking an Operations Director to provide support and oversite for the performance data for all performance eligible accounts. He/she will work closely with Performance Business Partners, Performance IT, Financial Advisors (FAs) and other Client Reporting Operations team members on solving performance measurement discrepancies, maintaining ongoing quality reviews for all performance reporting, and effectively managing expectations. The candidate will report to the Client Reporting Team Lead. The role is located in New York.
Primary Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
-Oversee data quality of over 1,300 Market Indices and benchmarks
-Manage relationship with benchmark vendors
-Oversee the production process of the Quarterly Performance Reports (QPRs)
-Prepare monthly reports for Hypothetical model performance across several firm lead models
-Maintain manager composite data for monthly and quarterly reporting
-Set up and maintain appropriate comparisons with market indexes and customized benchmarks
-Respond to technical questions concerning client accounts and manager performance statistics
-Manage the reporting expectations of high profile Financial Analysts for custom reporting
-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc performance reports
-Ensure index, product attributes, and performance numbers are valid
-Oversee team projects and initiatives to maximize use of strategic reporting solutions in performance operations



Skills required
-+5 years of financial experience
-Experience in performance measurement or portfolio accounting
-Excellent reconciliation and research skills
-Possess strong written and oral communication skills
-High level of proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
-Analytical/critical thinking ability
-Detail oriented
