CNC Brake Press Operator 2nd shift – Forest City, NC
The CNC Brake Press Operator is responsible for the set-up and overall operation of the CNC Brake Press and the quality of the work produced.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Ability to properly load dies into the machine and write programs
- Ensure that parts are properly loaded in correct position
- Must run 1st off part for Quality approval
- Perform all job on/off transactions
- Must conduct an hourly quality check of parts/components
- Properly identify and tag all containers for receipt into inventory
- Ensure a part drawing is available for Quality for 1st off approval
- Use of proper Personal Protective Equipment required for machine/department
- Must maintain proper housekeeping in and around machine/work area.
- Other duties, as assigned

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED minimum.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. May require the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. May require the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of and basic computer skills.
At least three months mechanical and manufacturing experience.
