WSP is seeking a motivated Construction Inspector to join our Construction Services Group in the Seattle, Washington area.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret project plans and specifications
  • Monitor construction for compliance with project documents
  • Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and procedures
  • Inspect road and bridge construction (based on WSDOT or SDOT Standards)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • 5 years of inspection experience in highway/bridge/public works industry OR 5 years of experience in the highway/public works sector working for a contractor or public agency OR Engineering or Construction Management Degree and 1 year of experience in the highway/bridge /public works industry (any type of position).
  • Ability to travel to construction sites (local)
  • (make statement(S) about ability to deal with a computer and have good writing skills)
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License
