Job Description

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering task. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
  • Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptions of engineering alternatives.
  • Prepare engineering related calculations and develope drawings and visual aids .
  • Work on a wide range of projects and tasks and assist with field research, data collection, data analysis, graphics, maps and data presentation, and report development .
  • Assist analyzing data for the Harris County Toll Road Authority System Inspection Report
  • Work under supervision of a project manager or senior level team member
  • Demonstrate ability to build trusting working relationships with clients and colleagues

In Summary:
• Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.
• Performs entry level work.
• Follows instructions to accomplish task assigned by senior staff.
• Meets required schedules while producing quality work.
Minimum Requirements
AA/AS (US) + 1 YORE or Diploma/Certification (Canada) + 1 YORE
