Come join our highly engaged New York-based Marketing and Communications team, focused on delivering innovative projects and supporting Macquarie Group’s corporate advisory and principal investing business in the Americas.

We would love for you to join our team as a Desktop Publisher to support the increasing demand for the production of high-quality, brand compliant pitch documents, presentations and collateral. This opportunity will be offered on a 6-12-month contract basis, with the opportunity for flexible working hours (1pm – 10pm).

A role in the Marketing and Communications team will expose you to a fast-paced environment and a wide variety of work, including opportunities to work on long-term projects and non-Macquarie branded materials. Whether working jointly with the Marketing Managers or directly with internal clients, you will take ownership of your deadlines and deliverables. The role offers frequent opportunities for client engagement and exposure to all sector teams.

To be successful in this role you will have specialist experience working in a corporate, financial environment on proposals, presentations and/or pitches. You will also have built an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and its platform intricacies, a creatively led eye for detail and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment. In addition, you will be a strong communicator and importantly a team player that brings energy and precision to their work and can effectively manage the delivery of multiple projects both autonomously and with others.

In this role you will be responsible for producing high-end, on-brand content and documentation including but not limited to:

- pitch books, proposals and presentations, create and format placemats, flyers and other bespoke marketing collateral
- custom designed documents and layouts
- creating, modifying and improving graphics, tables, maps, data and other key information
- creating visual infographics and graphical solutions that have impact and assist with business needs
- manage and complete general Microsoft Office requests and ribbon troubleshooting, whilst managing your own workload, liaising directly with internal clients to take job briefs and book in work as required.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • at least three years’ experience in a presentation, graphics or production house environment, ideally in a financial services firm or similar
  • advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Excel)
  • working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • a design or visual communications degree, diploma or other relevant qualification desirable.
