Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you’ll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working “from farm to shelf,” you’ll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.


Lead the Demand Planning Center of Excellence team that is accountable for delivering transformational capability improvements across process, skills and tools


Proces s Transformation

  • Program management of transformation activities, ensuring tight coordination of changes impacting people, processes, and tools
  • Ensure that transformation activities are supporting business needs and following best practices
  • Interface with all other areas within the Transformation COE and key business stakeholders


Business Enablement & Analytics

  • Optimize business processes including tools, process, and capabilities
  • Interface with IT to drive the technology roadmap in support of business objectives
  • Identify and integrate new and innovative approaches, leveraging a test and learn methodology
  • Provide insight and direction for long term demand capabilities consistent with industry best practices
  • Support cross-functional initiatives that interface with demand planning
  • Support the demand planners to advance capabilities and support achievement of business KPIs
  • Provide gap assessment against demand planning skill set and design/implement appropriate training
  • Provide regular coaching and training, and education
  • Manage the data preparation steps of the forecasting process (classification, segmentation, history cleansing)
  • Identify and apply the best forecasting models based on segmentation and demand behavior
  • Manage statistical models, optimizing model design and applying error analysis techniques to continuously improve results

Innovation Forecasting

  • Lead the forecasting of innovations, ensuring that assumptions are well documented and best practices are followed
  • Ensure that innovation forecasts are maintained properly through all phases of I2M
  • Support the business in development of new innovations, providing guidance on the impacts of key assumptions to expected performance
  • Lead deep dive analysis on innovation performance issues in support of the IBP process
  • Bring best practices to innovation forecasting, including tools, processes, and methodologies, across all brands/categories to consistently deliver accurate results
  • Identify and integrate new and innovative approaches, leveraging a test and learn methodology


Main Responsibilities:

  • Team leadership & talent development
  • Lead the Demand Planning Excellence team ensuring workload is balanced across team members to deliver identified priorities
  • Ensure direct and extended team members are equipped with tools and capabilities.
  • Optimize ways of working and supporting tools/processes within the team, and with the broader business, to ensure that the efforts of the team keep up with the changing needs of the business.
    • Lead the Demand Planning Transformation Agenda
  • Lead Change Management activities including engagement, training, and stakeholder management (Demand, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Supply Planning, IBP, Growth, etc.)
  • Represent end users in the design process for transformation activities
  • Define the future state operating model and interactions with Sales and expansion of the demand plan to include the Customer dimension
    • Business Enablement

  • Ensure effective integration of demand planning tools/processes with adjacent tools/processes (supply, sales, finance, etc.)
  • Lead the setting of demand planning application priorities, designing, testing, and ensuring business continuity



  • Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 10 years of Planning Experience (Sales, Demand, Supply)
    • 5 years of Project Management experience
