Job Description

The Hardware Engineer I will work with a group of Aero-Mechanical (AMS) engineers developing Military Products.  AMS engineers become cross trained across Aero, Mechanical, and Electrical with a strong focus on packaging and other niche technologies.  As an AMS engineer with EE focus, you will be matured into a subject matter expert focusing on the electrical design and test of our products.  You will work daily supporting Mechanical and Aerospace Engineers but will have access to and be mentored by other Electrical Engineers from other departments.  Knowledge of digital and analog circuit card assembly layout and construction techniques is desirable. Basic knowledge of project engineering methods: from the design phase through procurement, test, manufacturing, and installation. Knowledge of laboratory electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, Data Loggers, and optical measurements. Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for electronic circuitry. Knowledge of test report and procedure generation. 

Must have training with one or more of the following and knowledge on the others is desirable:
" Power Circuit Design
" Logic Circuit Design
" Analog Circuit Design
" Digital electronics design
" FPGA or Microcontroller design

Will be required to work independently and with interdepartmental teams.  Must be able to effectively communicate to management, peers, co-workers and outside agencies. Must be able to make presentations to groups of managers, government agencies and the public.

Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance and be a US Citizen.

B.S.E.E degree from an accredited university is required.

B.S.E.E. required or recent M.S.E.E. graduate preferred, and have at most 3 years of experience with design and validation of Power & signal analog and digital circuits.
