Summary

A successful candidate in this position will serve as an Emergency Management Specialist providing initial emergency response coordination for the Emergency Operations Center.

Responsibilities

As an Emergency Management Specialist, you will:

  • Operate and manage the incident/emergency computer and communications and networks.
  • Provide initial emergency response coordination.
  • Maintain 24 hour/seven day week operational expertise in Accident Response Group (ARG), Radiological Assistance Program (RAP), and NNSA transportation emergencies.
  • Operate/oversee a multi-computer based system to monitor and maintain constant communication with OST Federal Agents transporting nuclear material throughout the continental U.S.
  • Develop reports with findings and recommendations for management.


Travel Required

Occasional travel - Approximately 10% travel is required for this position.
