Job Description

AECOM seeks to hire an Entry Level Geologist/Environmental Scientist to join the rapidly growing Cincinnati, OH team. The ideal candidate would possess great communication skills, ability to learn complex topics quickly, note-taking, organization, and ability to travel as needed. Many projects are located near Cincinnati; however, some projects do require overnight travel.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Report preparation for Phase I environmental site assessments
  • Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
  • Collects and enters data, and applies technical principles and theories.
  • Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Entry-level position; may not require previous experience.

Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Must be able to maintain a valid driver's license and medical clearance for DOT driving

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or Environmental Science or related field Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping and analysis
  • AutoCAD experience is a plus
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
