Entry level professional position within the Mechanical engineering department.  Performs relatively routine activities and tasks related to their area of focus under close supervision. Typically requires pre-knowledge of the discipline theories, principals and practices learned through college course work or prior work experiences.  Develops broader knowledge through performing structured functional assignments, such as collecting and analyzing data related to specific tasks.  Greatest focus is on learning and application of the department engineering skills. Able to learn and adequately demonstrate all of the basic skills needed for advancement.


What you will bring


Technical and Industry Experience:  

BS or MS in related field or applicable discipline, typically an engineering degree; or equivalent experience if allowed by law.  EIT preferred. Basic knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted office procedures.  Generally 0-2 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.

Special Job Requirements

Computer proficiency required; Familiar with engineering software applications, basic analytical and problem solving skills.  Accuracy and attention to detail important.  Ability to meet deadlines and complete assignments.  Basic written and verbal communication skills in English are important.  Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.  Ability to maintain confidential information is critical.
