Summary

You will serve as a JOB READINESS CELL PIER MANAGER in the Project Support Division of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 10.28% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.

Responsibilities
  • You will coordinate and oversee job readiness activities in conjunction with key material stakeholders, ensuring the pre-availability job readiness activities are complete, and and JRC employees are trained .
  • You will track material metrics and maintain accurate and healthy inventories for all kit and ripout materials, including short-term ripout/carcass removal processes and storage.
  • You will lead team to independently resolve issues and /or problems within assigned projects, communicating with other JRC Managers on other availabilities within the Shipyard.
  • You will manage and coordinate the Job Readiness activities for availabilities, including project-planning, review, execution oversite and guidance to ensure Project team efficiency and quality production work.
  • You will maintain the alignment of non-stop execution of the mechanic on the deck plate and present measurable data tracking metrics, working in conjunction with multiples codes, shipyard wide and other shipyard collaborations.
  • You will exercise both administrative and technical supervision over subordinates for JRC Project work, setting priorities and preparing schedules for completion of work.
  • You will assign work to employees based on capabilities, reviewing work products of subordinates and establishing performance standards, with performance evaluations.
  • You will lead team to independently resolve problems that affect the end cost, quality, schedule and performance of availability by focusing management attention on these problems and directing corrective action.
