Description:

This is a temporary internship position not to exceed 6 months. Graduate level internship work may include in-depth research projects and documentation; complex data analysis and graphs; writing and designing new collateral marketing materials; assisting with audits; developing and executing surveys for internal or external stakeholders; completing process improvement audits.

Essential Functions:

  • Working with all our consulting Analyst teams to
    update our analytics Product Catalogue.

  • Assisting with the development of Tableau
    analytic tools to allow legacy reports in different technology to be
    decommissioned.

  • Working with the Graduate intern with executing
    elements of our document repository strategy/plan including updating/enhancing
    our -Analyst Handbook- Wiki.

  • Working with the Graduate Intern to enhance our Tableau
    learning resource, for analysts in the KP Insight NW department. This could
    draw information and from experience within the team, from other teams in
    Kaiser Permanente, and from external resources.

  • Other ad hoc tasks utilizing the data systems
    and tools available to KP Insight NW.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience

Education
- Bachelor's degree.
- A graduate student of any age or background in the process of pursing additional education such as master's degree or PhD. in a specific field.

License, Certification, Registration
- N/A
Additional Requirements:
- Must be willing to relocate to site of internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS office (powerpoint, excel, word)

  • Experience with sharepoint preferred

  • Experience with Wikis

  • Basic SQL programming skills

  • Basic Knowledge of analytics, data bases, programming

  • Project management/Coordination skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Work with multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to plan work and work independently
