Seeking a Laboratory Technician I for a 3-4 month assignment in Alpharetta, GA.

Job Description:  Supports testing of a variety of chemical, biological or microbiological analyses on products, raw materials, in-process materials, or stability samples in support of the company s quality program. May perform qualitative tests or quantitative assays on samples using techniques that vary from use of standard analytical equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation.

Perform laboratory duties and other required support functions to support department objectives. Responsible for specific scientific testing and provides back-up on other key test areas. Performs testing to meet USP, ISO, EN, and ASTM standards for product release and QC testing. Accountable for specific test data and can train on specific lab tests. May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager. The Pathology Laboratory attests to the following: For HIPAA compliance purposes, this position has been reviewed by management and meets the need to know PHI access criteria of the HIPAA Security Rule. Additionally, per the HIPAA Privacy Rule, the minimum necessary PHI data elements have been identified by management and the minimum necessary PHI access has been granted to the employee/contractor for them to satisfactorily execute the role and responsibilities of this position. Quality System Requirements In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. For those individuals that supervise others, the following statements are applicable: Assures that appropriate resources personnel, tools, etc. are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the Quality Policy. Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.
