Summary

The LVN provides nursing care for a specialty care patient population. Maintains patient flow, prepare patients for and assist with office procedures and surgery. Sterilizes instruments, maintains supplies and equipment, and ensures accurate documentation. Schedules surgeries and coordinates care.

This position is located Serra Mesa, San Diego County

Hours

Full Time - 10 hour - Day shift

7:00am - 5:30pm

Weekend shifts as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program or Navy Corpsman School

  • Current unencumbered California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers

  • One to three years LVN experience in related clinical area

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Ambulatory care/Physician office experience

  • Otolaryngology (Ears Nose, Throat) experience

  • Experience with Touchworks or comparable electronic medical records system

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent customer service skills, be flexible and very organized
