Job Description


  • Proof of high school diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Three (3) years of administrative/clerical experience or three (3) years of experience in human resources, insurance or closely related field.  *Experience within a school district preferred.
  • Knowledge of administration of leave programs and applicable laws.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel, to develop spreadsheets, databases and perform work processing.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills and customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of individuals and complex issues.
  • Demonstrated personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks and change assignments on short notice, with little or no direction.
  • Ability to multi-task various administrative activities.

    This is a full-time temporary assignment anticipated to end March 31st , however, the length of the temporary assignment will be determined based on project needs. This position pays into the Teacher Retirement System (TRS).






  • Receive and respond to phone calls and emails regarding the HR COVID-19 process map.
  • Process Family First Coronavirus Response Act leave requests.
  • Coordinate with district’s absence management system and keep track of all cases reported, statuses, and return to work dates.
  • Communicate with HR COVID response team members and follow up with ISC and Ancillary HR as needed.

    Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:

    Work with frequent interruptions. Maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer.  Moderate exposure to noise, and moderate exposure to extended periods of sitting and/or standing.
