This position involves a multi-grade career ladder. The major duties listed below represent the full performance level of GS- 12. At the GS- 11 grade level, you will perform assignments of a more limited scope and with less independence. You will progressively acquire the background necessary to perform at the full performance level of GS- 12. Promotion is at the discretion of the supervisor and is contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of higher level work, and availability of funds. Promotion is not guaranteed and no promise of promotion is implied.

Major Duties:

  • Conducts analytical studies to determine adherence to program policies relative to performance assessment requirements and controls. Documents program inconsistencies and/or anomalies and prepares management reports and recommendations to resolve issues.
  • Independently or as a member of a team, analyzes and evaluates (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of administrative program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
  • Researches and investigates business practices, management practices, and information system requirements for application to OlT programs or operations to independently or in a team develop program or administrative. recommendations on process improvement, process implementation, systems specifications, data gathering, and analytical techniques.
  • Plans, organizes, and coordinates meetings and conferences. Develop slide presentations and non-technical correspondence based on unwritten policies, and practice and present to the Director and/or appropriate management staff for approval and release.
