Job Description

· Work under the supervision and direction of full time control techs to make select program modifications to PLC’s and other plant hardware
• Assist with miscellaneous electrical work in support of standard projects
• Backup VFD’s and other programmable plant hardware and archive updated files
• Update firmware of programmable hardware to plant standard
• Work in the stock room documenting inventory
• Create SOP’s for standard controls related tasks
• Do time studies of pan/basket rates to determine process improvement considerations
• Conduct process studies to discover opportunities for increased line efficiencies
• Prepare statistical analysis of process capability to implement improved controls
• Provide assistance in design and execution of various projects (systems and floor)
• Create and communicate presentation on learned competencies to demonstrate newly acquired business acumen
• Perform data analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and waste reduction


  • Currently a Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Must possess strong leadership, computer, and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Must be willing to work various shifts in Operations and overtime as needed from June through August and able to travel
