As a member of the People Engagement Team the Organizational Effectiveness Intern will support the cultural transformation in Marketing and Digital Services to meet the current and future demands of the business. The People Engagement Team works directly with our Marketing Leadership team to leverage insights from our research and people analytics to inform organizational change initiatives, as well as the development of managers and staff. This role is aligned with our areas of focus including people analytics, research and change management. As a team member, you will be part of evolving our capability to translate insights into organizational change that enhances our employee experience. This is a unique opportunity to align the member and employee experiences.

Essential Functions

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize research using quantitative and qualitative data pulled from multiple data sets
  • Experience designing organizational effectiveness research studies including conducting ethnographic interviews, focus groups.
  • Ability to translate research insights into organizational development recommendations.
  • Provide organization effectiveness consulting services for initiatives within Marketing and Digital Services, Program Offices.
  • Contribute expertise and latest trends to participate in people analytics capability building.
  • Participate in the delivery of organization change and organization strategy programs.
  • Support committees, work groups and leadership teams charged with implementing organization, department, or unit level improvement strategies. 

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge of people analytics capability evolution, including pulse checks, continuous listening, engagement surveys and relational analytics.
  • Knowledge of management practices and principles, and human resources management trends and practices.
  • Participate in defining and monitoring success metrics to measure effectiveness of change programs delivered.
  • Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in team coaching and facilitation.
  • Experience designing quantitative and qualitative organizational research projects.
  • Familiarity with the field of marketing and/or health care.
  • Knowledge of human-centered design practices, principles and methodology.

Enrolled or completed Master-s degree in organizational development, human resources management or related field from an accredited university within 1 year.
