Job Description

WSP USA is seeking a creative and strategic Marketing Coordinator to be a key player in supporting our firm’s continued growth and strategic business development for our Program Management/Construction Management (PMCM) practice in the Western US. This individual will work from any of our major offices in Washington, Oregon, California or Nevada.

The Marketing Coordinator will work with a variety of staff, from planners and engineers to designers and construction managers, supporting the marketing team with proposals, qualification packages, award submittals, resumes, project descriptions, and data management. We are looking for a motivated people-person with excellent writing and communication skills to lead the proposal process and support our fast-paced workflow.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responding to RFPs, RFQs, awards submittals, roster applications, task order proposals, etc.
  • Coordinate all proposal materials (graphics, text, forms and subconsultant material) into a polished, compelling and client-focused package with high visual quality 
  • Develop qualifications packages, resumes, project descriptions and other tailored marketing materials for the PMCM group; writing and editing of non-technical sections
  • Follow the firm’s high standards for quality in all marketing deliverables
  • Assist in managing opportunity and pipeline database management, compliance procedures and administrative support

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • More than 3 years of experience in the AEC industry, preferably in heavy civil transportation, water/wastewater and facilities construction services
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism or closely related field
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills (both written and oral)
  • Superior organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong personal initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Strong writing capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to travel, if required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with construction services offerings
  • Past experience with medium and large sized A/E firms
  • Sufficient Adobe Creative Suite experience (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
