•    Contributing to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective.

•    Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.

•    Job shadowing in other functional areas

Department Description:

We are the "Operational Excellence & Innovation" arm of the Marketing, Campaigns, Process & Operations team. We are a team dedicated to constant improvement. We exist in order to make marketing operations better by accelerating improvement efforts, defining cross-functional connections and evangelizing Process Improvement as a core behavior. To do this, we act as change agents – collaborating cross-functionally and remaining accountable for the success of our initiatives.  

Internship Project Description:

Under the supervision of the Sr. Consultant and Business Analyst, the intern will be responsible for taking a look at our existing Campaign Requirements Document and process, conducting process improvement activities, and proposing improved process(es) and tools. This project will have the potential to create broad-scale change within KP's Marketing Data Operations. We expect the intern will gain skills in Human Centered Design, Process Improvement, and get a broad understanding of the mechanics of how a Marketing organization operates within a large company. The intern may also support other team projects given availablity and interest. 

Desired Skillset:

Critical Thinking; Excellent Time Management; Understanding of at least 1 traditional Marketing discipline (direct mail, email, SMS, IVR) shown by work- or school-project-based experience; Confidence leading 1:1 conversations / public speaking to small audiences)

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree or have graduated from an accredited university within the last year.

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

License, Certification, Registration

Additional Requirements:

• Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions

• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3.0 GPA or above.

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
