**AS THE PERIOPERATIVE MANAGER YOU WILL HAVE RESPONSIBILITY OVER PREOP SERVICES, OR, POSTOP SERVICES AND CENTRAL SERVICE/STERILE PROCESSING. WE ARE IN GROWTH MODE, INCREASING OUR ACCESS AND EXPANDING OUR SERVICES.

CAPITOL HILL CAMPUS IS THE FLAGSHIP FACILITY FOR KPWA AND LOCATED IN A UNIQUE, DIVERSE URBAN/COMMUNITY VIBE WITH RESTAURANTS, SHOPPING, ACCESS TO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Provides leadership and direction to employees providing and supporting patient care through the continuum of the surgical process. Collaboratively partners with medical staff and administrative leaders to attain key strategic objectives. The manager is accountable for the reporting departments' attainment of its cost, quality, and service goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop, assess, and improve service plans that respond to customer expectations and organizational objectives. Develop, implement, and monitor standards for clinical and technical excellence in a constantly changing work environment. Develop and interpret financial, utilization, and service quality reports; provide leadership utilizing current and projected data to facilitate decision-making.
  • Lead, manage, and develop employees in a way that assures the best use of the departments' resources and a shared accountability for achievement of priority outcomes.
  • Organize, facilitate, coordinate, and participate on departmental, Regional, and KPWA-wide committees and work teams.
  • Build effective communication systems that support the clear flow of information across multiple service locations.
  • Work collaboratively with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington and other medical staff and operations leaders to attain service objectives.

  • Basic Qualifications:

    Experience

  • Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience or related clinical/management experience.
  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
  • License, Certification, Registration
