KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Federal Security to join our Government Audit organization.


  • Provide excellent customer service and mission success for client-facing engagement teams through timely and effective management of all aspects of the intelligence community security clearance process
  • Initiate, process, and maintain clearances through JPAS, Scattered Castles and other special access sites as well as prepare, coordinate, and deploy security policies and procedures
  • Write and edit security volumes and security requirements for Intelligence agency proposal responses, review and prepare DD254s, and provide security oversight and support to business and proposal development
  • Manage physical security to include safeguarding of classified material, closed and restricted areas, and classified meetings
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training, briefings, and debriefings in collaboration with learning and development teams
  • Conduct clearance fitness assessments for clearance candidates, advise engagement teams of candidate suitability, maintain program rosters, and conduct and attend meetings with engagement project leadership and supervise team members to achieve results


  • Minimum of eight years of experience in contractor security organization preferably within a professional services environment supporting classified contracts, SCIF management, SCI access management and physical security for restricted areas of SCIFs
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with knowledge of the Department of Defense National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and Department of Defense (DOD)
  • Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with an SSBI or T5 within four years and ability to crossover clearance
  • Able to demonstrate excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel to client sites in District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
