Quality Assurance - Receiving Clerk

To support our ambitious growth, we are looking for a Receiving Clerk to play a part in driving the Group forward on its truly exciting journey.

Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Receiving Clerk is responsible for scheduling shipments, unloading trucks, raw material sampling and process paperwork. The Receiving Clerk must be capable to operate a reach truck and maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.

Days and hours of work are typically Monday thru Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm; however it may vary dependent on department or business needs, and overtime may be required.

Essential Functions:

    Collaborate with procurement staff to schedule all inbound shipments for the production of THG owned brands
    Complete, review and file necessary documents in accordance to FDA and site standards
    Verify incoming product is supplied and/or manufactured by approved vendors through appropriate channels
    Complete trailer inspections and reject unsatisfactory trailers and/or materials
    Unload material and complete sampling for laboratory testing as needed
    Verify information provided on the Certification of Analysis or Certificate of Conformance is within specification
    Communicate with drivers and all level of management
    Communicate with all levels of management
    Assist with maintaining inventory by recording accurate quantities from the Bill of Lading, verifying stock upon receipt, and storing in accompanying systematic and physical location
    Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections
    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
    Strictly adhere to job specification and ensure good quality work.
    Report to Quality Manager regularly, keeping them updated on activities.
