Working with a new site, new teams and new ways of working, we now need someone who will manage the review, prioritization and planning of activities to remediate vulnerabilities. The Release Analyst will be based in Kraków and have colleagues in Stockholm, Malta and Leeds. 

Forming part of the Change Management team, which is tasked with controlling the lifecycle of all changes, you will be responsible to enable beneficial changes with minimum disruption to IT services while minimizing the negative impact for our customers when changes are implemented in different markets. 

Technical development is being done through fast moving, agile methods which brings with it high demands on how we implement, improve and operate the change management process.

Specific responsibilities include:

The Release Analyst will be responsible for managing the delivery of releases across test and production environments throughout the Delivery Lifecycle

Works as a part of product teams to deliver high quality services.

Ensure business requirements and where necessary prioritization is fully understood.

Proactively pre-empts and manages risks and issues, providing solutions and escalating as required.

Ensure product teams are aware of the wider release calendar that may impact their work in both test and production environments.

Runs retrospectives on failed releases and owns all actions to completion.

Ensures the Release Management processes are well communicated.

Drives continuous improvement in release management, keeping up with industry best practice and approaches.

Builds direct relationships with peers across Technology and business teams.

Building stronger relationships with the sub-channel Tech Leads & agreeing CI/CD strategy.

Forges close working relationships with programme and project managers to ensure delivery of high quality software releases.

Models the William Hill Values and ensure they are adopted in the team

What we'd like to see from you: (knowledge, experience, qualifications - what might set you apart?)

Relevant Higher Education or equivalent experience

A minimum of 1 year experience working with IT processes such as problem, incident or change 

Experience in working with agile development will be considered an asset

Knowledge of Confluence, JIRA and or Service Now

A strong drive and ability to see projects and tasks successfully, through to the end

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Excellent interpersonal skills - skilled at clearly bringing a message across to a variety of audiences

Ability to handle and adapt to changing priorities and uncertainty

A team player that is willing to work both collaboratively in a team as well as individually

Ability to work under pressure and deliver, while handling multiple tasks

Highly organised and analytical mindset
