We are currently seeking a SCORM Developer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

Requirements:

A SCORM developer is expected to have…

• 3+ years of relevant exposure of SCORM (version 2004, 4th edition preferred)
• 6+ years of Software development experience.
• Specific SCORM experience must include exposure to the following:
  • Assisted with the instructional design of the eLearning courses.
  • Performed project programming analysis and activities for SCORM-based learning applications and eLearning software that may require some research.
  • Developed software for converting eLearning content into SCORM-conformant formats, including GUI design.
  • Analyzed, designed, developed, tested, and implemented applications and databases,
  • Produced efficient, clean, and well-commented code with minimal defects
  • Prepared technical documentation of project-related sub-systems.
  • Conducted unit testing for assigned projects.
  • Performed defect verification, release testing.
  • Been involved in using visual and graphic design skills to create an engaging course.
  • Must understand eLearning technologies, such as authoring tools and learning management systems.
  • Some exposure to working with rapid eLearning development tools. (Nice to have)
• 1+ years' experience in instructional design and/or technical writing a plus.
• Worked with video and image capturing tools.
• Created scripts to convert courses to SCORM.
• Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Must have good experience in using Shell Scripts.
• Experience developing eLearning for software products, using any rapid development tool, such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline.
