Position Summary:
Under the direction of a compliance investigator apply the field concepts, practices and procedures to analyze critical data. This position will resolve routine compliance issues and perform a variety of paraprofessional duties. Incumbents are expected to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish compliance goals. Incumbent must have a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
Job Functions:
• Responsible for conducting prompt, thorough and impartial research analysis and writing reports of findings, drawing conclusions and making recommendations under the direction of a compliance investigator
• Coordinate all information to prepare Compliance reports and other compliance documents
• Coordinates and performs the responsibilities related to compliance research
• Prepare written reports by compiling information and data from a variety of sources
• Coordinate and schedule compliance training
• Conduct research utilizing a variety of online resources
• Review certain compliance reports and other documents to ensure necessary research and analysis are contained therein
• Respond to Ethics Point complaints and inquiries
• Perform Ethics Point filings, records research and report preparation
• Utilize technical information to make an independent decision and recommendation to supervising Compliance Department personnel
• Perform a variety of assignments within the following areas: Compliance Database administration, consultation with database business and survey users, coordination of Compliance procedures/initiatives with internal SGI departments such as Accounts Payable, Finance, Legal, Procurement and others
• Complete miscellaneous/administrative tasks upon request
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of training, experience and education required
• Previous compliance experience a plus
• 3-5  years of administrative level experience
• 3 - 5 years of research reporting experience
Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent written communication skills for submission of written reports
• 3 - 5 years of administrative level experience dealing with compliance or related activities
• High standard of professionalism in all dealings with internal staff and any external partners, clients and regulatory agencies
• Ability to work and excel in a high intensity environment
• Strong      written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding      attention to detail and strong organization skills
• Sense of      ethics and strong problem solving, decision-making, reporting,      communication and management skills
