Job Description

Graduate Hotel Management is seeking a Senior Vice President of Operations to lead the collection of Graduate Hotels nationwide. Graduate Hotels® is a hotel collection targeting university-anchored markets across the country that celebrates each town's unique local culture and history.


Responsible for leading portfolio of Graduate hotels and restaurants to achieve financial goals and objectives, promote Graduate brand service culture and increase operating performance. Prepares budgets, creates businesses plans, and solves internal issues as they arise. JOB


  • Communicate and execute company and brand strategy
  • Attend executive leadership and/or board meetings.
  • Oversee revenue generation for portfolio of hotels and restaurants.
  • Preside over operations
  • Promote overall culture of the Graduate brand within all disciplines
  • Identify ways to maximize revenue.
  • Work with, guide, and oversee the preparation of property and corporate department budgets
  • Analyze financial reports.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by each department and property.
  • Attract, retain and motivate staff.
  • Report and share information with the board to ensure they are kept fully informed on the condition of the organization and important factors influencing it.
  • Work closely with Graduate Brand to ensure compliance with brand standards and programs.
  • Lead transition/acquisition and openings of hotels
  • Ensure highly productive relationships and partnerships for the benefit of the organization.
  • Sets goal, monitors work, and evaluate results to ensure that departmental and organizational objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization.
  • Work alongside community leaders, executive directors, major donors/funders, government officials, and senior staff/board members.
  • Participate in and nurture broad networks of alliances with others to exchanges knowledge and information about learning and change in support of change initiatives
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Administration, Business, or Marketing
  • Minimum of 5 years in progressive regional operations leadership role
