Position Summary

Ingram Micro is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join the Microsoft 365 team in Irvine, California. The team is responsible for the design, implementation, and change management of its core Office 365 communication services and policies, as well as maintaining the hybrid infrastructure required by our business footprint.

The engineer will act as a subject matter expert (SME) for our main Office 365 services

  • Exchange Online (Hybrid)
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Office Pro Plus

The candidate has good knowledge of all Office 365 services available in enterprise licenses (Microsoft 365 E3 and E5), including Microsoft Intune and Azure Active Directory P1. Experience with tenant and data migration is a plus. 


  • Evaluate, design, and execute projects that leverage O365 services to empower our end-users and increase collaboration and productivity globally.
  • Stay up to date with all O365 (and related on-premises) technologies. Manage change communication and training for the organization.
  • Work with your peers on network requirements, operational process, identity and security best practices, to create and automate deployment and operational guides.
  • Work with our endpoint management team to define policies for Microsoft Intune.
  • Provide level 3 escalation support for Exchange, Teams, and Intune issues.  
  • 5+ years experience managing Exchange and Skype for Business (or similar unified communication tool) in an Enterprise environment.
  • Some experience with Microsoft Teams administration.
  • Experience in solution design, project management, change management (communication and ITIL).
  • Knowledge of automation services and scripting language.
  • Ability to formulate complex ideas and make them simpler to understand.
  • Autonomous learner and problem solver.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and lead junior engineers.

Complete understanding and wide application of advanced technical principles, theories and concepts in a specialized field. Possess broad knowledge of professional field and other related functions. Goals are provided to the incumbent in form of desired results. Determines and develops approach to solve functional area related issues. Possess the strongest of skills acquired through advanced training, study and experience. Four year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field).
