Physical Requirements: The work is normally performed in an office setting while seated at a desk. Incumbent occasionally carries books and papers weighting up to 10 pounds to and from meetings away from the work site.

Major Duties:

  • Directs and supervises staff in the development, implementation and execution of assigned functions.
  • Determines resource needs, allocates and accounts for resources, determines need and develops plan for organizational changes to achieve an efficient and economical structure which will best serve mission needs.
  • Establishing policies, planning, prioritization and conduct of efficient and economical use of the facilities, supplies, equipment, manpower, and funding resources necessary to accomplish the mission.
  • Analyzes and interprets the status of the resources required and available for the various projects, which may significantly impact program milestone accomplishment.
  • Establishes controls over program schedules and resource requirements to ensure their synchronization across Payroll programs to include related external activities.
Supervisory Probationary Period:

Applicants selected for this position may be required to serve a one year supervisory probationary period. Failure to successfully complete the supervisory probationary period will result in the employee being reassigned to a position in the agency of no lower grade and pay than the one the employee left to accept the supervisory or managerial position.
