Multi Packaging Solutions is a print-based specialty packaging business within WestRock that focuses on healthcare and high-end consumer markets, including confectionery, cosmetics, premium spirits and media packaging.  We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Operator who will support our site in Westport.


The jobholder is responsible for ensuring the efficient function of the warehouse area to ensure production is maximised and deliveries, incoming and outgoing goods are all managed to ensure a safe environment is maintained including local Customer deliveries and others as required.


Health and safety
  • To work in a safe manner adhering to laid down health and safety procedures.

  • To report all accidents and dangerous occurrences or near misses to management.

  • When driving will operate legally in compliance with road user legislation and company best practice. 

Quality / Production
  • To support production with the necessary materials to execute the production plan.
  • Control the movement of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Unloading and receiving product on a computerised system.
  • Loading customer orders and delivers same in accordance with despatch notes.
  • Deliver and collect goods as required.
  • Maintaining vehicles equipment as and when required.
  • Returning unused materials. 
  • Stock checking and cycle counting as and when required.
  • Collate reports as necessary for day to day execution of tasks. (Pick Lists, Delivery Dockets, Certificates of Conformances)
  • Loading and unloading Lorries in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Completing appropriate system transactions and paperwork with accuracy.
  • Retrieve jobs from racking as and when required.
  • Housekeeping duties as required.
  • Manage handling of customer returns.
  • Liaise with production and planning to support these functions.
  • Safe use of all vehicles and equipment.
  • Participate in training and improvement initiatives as required.

Educational and professional:

  • Leaving Certificate

  • Forklift licence is a desirable


  • Experience working in a busy warehouse environment

  • Knowledge of print and publishing sector desirable

  • Computer Skills

  • Communication skills

  • Forklift experience and current certification

  • Demonstrable attention to detail and results focused

  • Full clean licence for driving relevant vehicle
