Warehouse Services Coordinator - Low Moor Converting Plant

The Opportunity:

The Warehousing Services Coordinator will act as a liaison between the Richmond Integrated Load Center, Account Representatives and Scheduling, for safe, continual movement of material arriving and departing the facility. 

Ability to safely, quickly and effectively prioritize tasks is a must as changes rapidly occur in this production environment.  In addition, you will oversee and assist the “material planning” group that coordinates the supply of stock material to the production units via SAP.  Helping manage and control inventory levels will be required for safe operation. 

This position will fill in as Warehouse Supervisor when the Warehouse Supervisor is out of the facility.

Support the implementation of the WestRock Performance Excellence System. Facilitate adoption of the Low Moor Compass with all warehouse employees.

How you will impact WestRock:

·        Actively promote the Safety Excellence System and monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, WestRock safety programs and Low Moor policies.

·        Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules, security procedures and instructions.

·        Support the plant’s safety improvement efforts through engagement with employees, participation in improvement teams and efforts, and incident root cause analysis.

·        As part of the leadership, help to create an injury free culture where all employees are engaged and accountable.

·        Move stock material in and out of the facility, planning in SAP

·        Communicate with Account Rep’s, Schedulers, Load Planners and operators to move material.

·        Disposition of material in SAP.

·        Assist with inventory count and reconciliation.

·        Coordinate rail switches through CSX.

·        Participate on weekend call duty as scheduled.

·        Aid in enforcement of plant policies and procedures with safety as the core value.

·        Develop procedures for process improvements as needed.

·        Order finishing material for loading in SAP.

·        Enter maintenance work orders in SAP

What you need to succeed:

-Experience in SAP (from purchase orders to shipments).

-Loading or warehouse experience in shipping and receiving. Ordering shipping materials

-Inventory

-Acting as liaison between Load center, Export and Account Reps

-Manufacturing industry experience.
